Last time I was there, i found the sex shops in the Red Light District were over priced!! You could go to the retail DVD shops in the shopping centre and get the same DVD for much much less. One example was a Private DVD for ?69 in RLD versus ?29.99 in retail DVD shop in Amsterdam.

My advice would be to order online.

Keep away from the tourist areas and red light district sexshops.
Often the discount book stores in normal shopping streets have some good bargains. i got Uncle Ben's English Porno Groupies for about 9 quid over here.

yeah, never buy any vids or dvd's from the red light area u will get well and truly ripped my friend......the absolute best place in amsterdam i could find for videos is Video Koop Center....its out of the city centre but its worth the time and effort i found it in the yellow pages....most videos are priced ?10 to ?25.... a good choice too they also stock mainstream stuff (in case u fancy the euro-cut of dawn of the dead) the shop is hard to find but worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
