Help-"aboutblank"

I've got a firewall running and Norton Securities etc. but my home page has suddenly been hijacked by "www.findthe website you need. com"
When I try to change it back to "aboutblank" via Tools/Internet options I get the message: "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator".
I can't go by the other route via Settings because the Change the home page is greyed out.
It isn't just the home page biz thats annoying but the blocking of my Internet Options.
Can any of you techies help before I cast myself into the Microsoft Help maestrom.

I have now run "Spybot" and it finds and deletes the "www. findthe website you need.com" and restores the "aboutblank" homepage. But I still can't get into InternetOptions. I get the same error message.

Which version of windows, ? on xp you can do a roll back, on 98 run disk check, or try and access internet options via your browser, even though it shows blank, failing that, look at your dial up connections, and take out anything isp wise that shouldn,t be there, failing that create a new connection, let us know

can you re-install internet explorer?
Which version of IE have you got?
can you use a different browser - mozilla? opera?
