Porn equivalent to prostitution?

Before you start going off in tangents, this is the origional question:

"Pornstars in porn movies are paid basicaly for making love, it seems the motivation of many actors in porn is money, i mean who else would make love to strangers simply for the fun of it. money is exchanged in porn movie productions and in prostitution, so what is the difference?

one is filmed and the other isn't?"

To some up, basicly the question is, what is the difference between protitution and actors in a porn film (one presumes both are being paid and not working for free).

Its a simple and very interesting question.

You could even say that are prostitues more moraly correct than actors in porn, ie they may be only doing protitution to feed there children while those in films are doing it to buy cars, clothes, boob jobs and so on.

So you could turn the question on its head and say are porn actors imoral while prostutes are moral?

I assume the reason it hasn't happened is that legal opinion is that such an action would have little or no chance of success.
I'm sure Mary Whitehouse made enquiries in the 70s about mounting such a private prosecution.

I'm sure many prostitute's do it to put food on the table for their family, but it can be an unsavory life due to one thing or another.

I guess many girls who go into porn do so so that they can earn some decent money without being stuck in the old '9-5 routine', & I bet have alot more fun into the bargin.

Some UK pornstars work as prostitutes, which is good, if that what they want to do and good luck to them for using their brains, mean who wouldn't want to make love to a uk pornstar, many people would.

Some well known UK pornstars/models have worked/work as prostitutes, can't seee nothing wrong with that, if thats what they like to do, why do they feel ashamed of their prostitute career but not their porn career though?

(i was specifically referring to the first sentence of section 2.1.3 which reads: "Similarly, all postings relating to rumoured or actual escort services provided by any of the girls will also be removed." note the word, "actual").

in other words, i point you towards the relevant part of the faq which explains that even if models are escorting we still don't allow posts about it - and you reply with a statement saying "yes but some models ARE escorting."

believe it or not i know that, and my both post and section 2.1.3 of the faq make it clear that it doesn't make any difference. WE DON'T ALLOW POSTS TO THIS FORUM HIGHLIGHTING THE ESCORTING ACTIVITIES OF ANY MODEL - end of story.
