Netto is a Scandinavian firm. You were probably thinking of Lidll who are Krauts.

Sorry to be so pedantic but I take the topic of supermarkets very seriously. I once had an elderly client who was injured in Netto after pulling over a display of cordial bottles. And a girl called Sharon who slipped on a lettuce leaf in Morrisons. Shopping can be a highly dangerous activity.

Yer right many a time I've had someone bang into me with their wire basket or trolley. Think supermarkets should provide you with protective gear as you go in, shin pads, cricket box etc.

As do I: the Netto ads aired down here about a year ago, and there's a branch in Acton Market. And Mrs JJ has a locally-situated branch of Lidl (v good for German charcuterie). I can quite easily tell the difference: the clue is in their different spellings..........
So there, nyaa nyaa yar boo sucks.
I would NEVER shop in Morrisons: but that's the kind of guy I am.
Waitrose is v good: lots of pretty young professionals (but also a disproportionate amount of old grannies....).

"I would NEVER shop in Morrisons: but that's the kind of guy I am.

He,s usually down isle 5 shopping for cheap cider and out of date twigletts.
And another thing, as he,s trying to wind me up over my pyping skills, I,m gonna tell some home truths! ready? Magoo gets his underpants from, TK Max, a shop that caters for the young hobo about town, they have a fantastic range of 'sportswear' gn,teed to fall apart in a week, made by some piss poor peasant in Thialand, Iv,e seen him strutting his stuff down Canal st, soggy kebab in one hand -copy of 'twinks weekly' in the other, oh the stories I could tell, but I wont of course cos hell thump me, and probably have me thrown in prison, as he,s well in with all the beaks, still If I get anymore comments about my typinf prowess, I,ll spill the beans and tell all, including 'that' night at Barrymores.
There I feel better now.

Your interest in my underwear is most flattering Lizard. I can send you a pair of soiled ones if you wish. But after Kashifs kebab I wouldnt recommend it.

But on the whole I agree with your post. I saw you in Tescos in Manchester lurking around the fruit and rubbing your self suggestively. You crazy little reptile.

PS If your ever in Derby.......... then your obviously lost as nobody goes there on purpose.

PPS I have a PURPOSE in life. I feed it pilchards. My porpoise is fond of them too.

Lizard is correct. Morrisons is a good shop. And so is ASDA. Both Yorkshire firms. Although the latter was bought out by american Wallmart

We dont have Waitrose up here. Southern tossers. Do you want a fight? I bet our northern supermarkets could kick your poncey southern shops arses.

And indeed they are kicking your London based shops if my copy of the FT (only joking! I read the Star really) is correct.

But I guessed that anyway because my local Sainsburys is usually empty while ASDA (despite being open 24/7) is always packed with punters. I hate busy shops so I shop at Sainsburys or Tesco.

Waitrose? Do leave orf. Thats the type of shop Worral Thompson would go to. And I have it on good authority that Mr Oliver never shops at Sainsburys (or Johns as I call it).
