As most of you will know, I am a complete prat with computers and things electronic, which means that I am unable to scan something and then get it onto this forum for you to enjoy. So, if I put up the directions to the most hysterically funny screw-up in advertising this century, perhaps some genius amongst you will do the honours, and get it onto the forum.
On page 20 of YOU magazine which accompanied the Mail On Sunday yesterday is an ad for VEET, which is the new name for Immac, the popular depilatory. This advertisment gives new meaning to the term Bikini Line. The new look is definitely the Tufty Look.
I hope someone can get it onto the Forum.
Incompetence & Screw Ups in Advertss.

Re: Incompetence & Screw Ups in Advertss.
Far from being incompetent or a screw up it is in fact
a rather clever advert to point out the perils of a girl
not removing her tufts of pubic hair.
It is a (very) close up shot of a girls groin area with
a bikini bottom on, she is kneeling, and her legs are
slightly apart.
Some way behind her two girls are standing, and can
be seen in the distance between the girls legs.
Their hair is blowing in the wind, but the angle of the
picture makes it look like the hair belongs to the girl
with the bikini on, and the hair is poking out each side
of her bikini bottom.
At first glance it looks like a girl with a hairy fanny, till
you see the two girls standing in the background.
Very subtle.

Actually, Guilbert, the incompetence referred to was mine - I have no idea about posting graphics on the net.
Do you really think it was intentional? I'm not so sure - I think some poor advertising executive is sending out masses of of CVs right now.
