For sheer volume of real, boner-fide shagging, you've got to go with Ai No Corrida, released as In The Realm Of The Senses and widely available on video and DVD in this country with an 18 certificate. It's pretty much just two people going at it, with some meandering off into 'what's the point of it all?' style musings, beautifully lit, and set in WW2 Japan. Oh, and at the end the female star cuts the male star's cock off.
Of all the 'arty films with real shagging', it's the only one I can honestly say actually works. Films like Romance and Baise Moi, it seems to me, just use the sex to attract outrage. You could make either of those films without the sex and still make the same 'statements' - the sex is just there to increase sales. In The Realm Of The Senses, on the other hand, has sex as an integral part of the story, and removing the explicit sex would seriously detract from the story. Admittedly, it's no, "An American Buttman In London" but it has its moments.

i totally agree about the unique "integrity" of ai no corrida, when compared with other mainstream flicks that transgress into the realms of h/c.

unfortunately, the region 2 dvd is letterboxed, even though it states 'widescreen' clearly on the box cover. if you have a widescreen tv you're either stuck with a postage stamp for a picture, or you zoom in, which always looks utterly pants and defeats the whole point of having dvd in the first place.

The reason I asked the question is because I'm on of those people that prefer softcore.

Let me explain....I prefer uncensored softcore. I cannot tolerate censorship and the worst kind of porn films are the censored "hardcore". I have nothing against hardcore some of my favourite films are hardcore.

I seem to get a kick out of seeing things you shouldn't e.g 18 cert porn films that go a little bit further than expected i.e the Ben Dover film that shows hand relief........I was wondering if anybody knew of anymore like this.

Now if I don't get an answer within 34 nano seconds.......
