Trendy, intelligent, well spoken, role model for youngsters?

Re: Chris Eubank...
Eubank is a cunt, no question. An arrogant ponce that deserved his spankings and I for one detest him for what he did to Michael Watson who was articulate, intelligent and sensitive with God-fearing beliefs. Michael Watson, even now, is more of a man than Eubank could ever hope to be.

......not to forget the long list of grannies, boy scouts and cuddly bunnies that he 'defended' his worthless title against.
Is he advising Audrey Harrison now?

Ace, don't be too hard on him. All celebrities can, and do, act as their new-found status dictates. After all, he was a damn good fighter on his day.
There is no way in hell that his great hurt to Watson was intended, it is a risk all boxers take. To my knowledge, there has only ever been one deliberate bashing (amongst the top ranks) and that was Emile Griffiths v Benny Paret.

Re: Chris Eubank...
Ali gave some ponce a good hiding when said ponce wouldnt acknowledge Ali's new moniker and kept referring to him as Cassius Clay. Ali toyed with him, cutting him badly but deliberately not putting him down to 'teach him a lesson' Fair one.

Re: Chris Eubank...
Bit different, Ace. Quite a lot of boxers have a genuine needle, but Griffiths killed Paret, which is a bit more extreme. The reason was that Paret insisted in public that Emile was a poof (which he was).
They had three of the greatest fights in boxing history -well, 21/2 - but it goes to show that publicity apart, push someone far enough, and Bingo.
