Rather that artists then had to be able to sing/play instruments/write songs.
I believe it's called talent..........

For the oldies.. Steve 56 and Marcus..
Marcus..
There was Nora the receptionist and Dennis on the door, I can't remember any other of the guys on reception. Harry the gay guy that ran the ground floor bar with his great big martini or brandy glass sitting on the bar. The casino upstairs and the basement for the disco and live groups... I've still got cheques I cashed in the casino for stupid amounts like ?2-5-6d so I could gamble the 2/6 minimum bet on the craps table:) I started dj'ing by accident.. Malcom and Colin the regular guys didn't turn up one night and as I walked in Nora asked me to do it, as I was always dancing, she presumed I knew all the records.. That night I earned a whole ?1- 10 shillings.. I even went back in the late 70's I think when it was Coco's and dj'd a couple of times for fun..,

You are worse than me or as bad
Sorry I've never heard of the Wolves apart from the soccer team.. The Beatles 1st album introduced me to R & B/Soul and by the mid 60's I was only buying Motown/Stax/Atlantic etc. records. I must admit that I do have some obscure 60's beat group singles and I can't remember how I got them, as when I play them they are baaaaad.. I put a test pressing of the Yardbirds lp "Roger The Engineer" up for auction at Bonhams about 3 years ago with a reserve of ?100 as I was told it was worth ?150 and the bids didn't even reach ?50.. So it didn't sell:(
