Excellent pics, Joe. Why wont someone wrestle the video rights from those BBC morons? Surely gone way past those dark days when everyone took things sooooo seriously. I'm a fan of the 'League of Gentlemen' too also on BBC and i don't see a difference between them. Maybe they got the hump cos Spike kept publicly slagging them! Yes, Steve. I'm sure it was briefly rerun sometime back on UK Gold or summat. All i have of Spike's is a tape recorded live at Cambridge Uni or summat. Can't exactly recall.

I just posted in the " Best comedy shows of all time " thread that Spike Milligans Q series used to crack me up. The next thing I read was the Julia Breck thread - not really knowing who she was but the name seemed vaguely familiar and find she's connected with Spkie Milligans Q series.

I think I heard that the BBC wiped some of his early Q series made in the mid sixties. The Python team were bowled over when they saw them ( apparently they'd never been put to air ) while planning their first Flying Circus shows. They realised Milligan had already done a show like the one they wanted and beaten them by several years !
