I posted a question asking forumites what there favourite books were and it got deleted.

I dont understand. In this brave new world of internet bollocks is the word as written on paper forbidden? Or was it my foolish remarks relating to the Police Codes of Practice that sent the post down ye trusty toilet of Woodgnomus et Alecus? If so I can understand. If not then its a pretty rum do. And not to far from the old Farenheit......by thingy.

I got as far as answering it before it vanished, Magoo. Given the literary talents and knowledge displayed by the moderators, I don't believe they have any problem with the written word per se. Either they hated my choice of Biggle Flies Undone, or some reference in your post caused offence (my ignorance is vast, but I saw nothing that would).

Anyway, Zebedee tells me it's time for bed.

Zebedee is probably correct. It may indeed be time for bed. But I bet that post was deleted by a "poncy yank" as Ace would say. Your a nosher and a philistine whoever deleted that perfectly innocent post.

I make a valued contribution to this board and I NEVER complain about being deleted because usually I deserve it. But this time its very unfair. You know who you are mister. I bet you wish the other mods hated me as much as you obviously do you quizling.

Isnt it sad that when I try to veer onto a sensible topic compared to the last few days "Celeb your a cunt" style posts I get deleted.

The time difference gives the perpertrator away.

Several other forumites including Ace, Caractucus and Holden participated in the celeb abuse posts and very few of those threads were started by me although I must admitt I joined in with gusto because it made a nice change to the boring remeniscences that this forum is full of. Posters under the age of 40 will understand. It was all good fun and judging by the tone of Alec and Woodgnomes posts they thought that a gentle nudge was all that was required. And I bet they found it funny too. In fact I was moderating by telling Holden that certain pictures mocking "ugly" people were not acceptable. Mart attempted to tell Ace that amputee humour could cause offence but he was met with a "squaddie" response. We are not a bunch of yobs who require telling how to behave by a sanctimonious Australian (no offence mate!).

So stop trying to gain brownie points. I had a legit post deleted incase you didnt notice. Concentrate on that instead of harking back to the anti Baddiell posts.
