Best BRITISH gangster film was Get Carter (HA!!!!! Beat you to it Magoo) then Long Good Friday then Mona Lisa. Forget wank like Essex Boys and Gangster No.1, they are sad rip offs. Best AMERICAN gangster would be Goodfella's followed by Godfather 2.

Mean Streets IS good, but check out Leone's 'Once Upon a Time in America' that is brilliant. Res Dogs is a rip off.
