Traci Lords documentary tonight

just in case, there's documentary on uber-babe Traci Lords on
Channel 5 tonight at 11

And it was actually fairly simpathetic to the industry and showed Miss Lords. in a bad light. Slightly different approach than the US talk shows that had Traci on as a guest and made out that she was a victim of child abusing pornographers rather than a streetwise young lady who faked her ID and age to get into porn. I noticed that the other porn people interviewed in the doc including The Hairy Hedgehog had nothing nice to say about her. Even before the scandal broke she had managed to piss off most other performers with her diva antics.

Still she DID look older than fifteen. Its hardly child abuse is it? Not if all concerned thought she was legal. And she knew what she was doing.

I get a very snowy picture on C5 so it was more like a radio documentary for me. Maybe someone I know might have taped it.

I tell you the most amazing thing on that programme was Tom Byron, I couldn,t believe how cool he looked, I thought by now he,d be a washed up wreck! and Peter North- amazing, they seem to have been in porn since I were nowt but a nipper

I can answer your last question. She now does straight acting. She was in Stephen Kings Tommyknockers and some sci-fi thing similar to Deep Space 9 of something.

She also regularly appears on talk shows to talk about how the porn industry exploited her when she was 15.

Her first 'straight' acting job was in 'Cry Baby' which featured Johnny Depp in his first major film, and a FAT Rikki Lake (so,no changes there!)
I have also read she used porn to get to mainstream acting like Marilyn Chambers. Oh, and Ron Jeremy stated 'when I was in 9 1/2 weeks etc' Sorry Ron, but that featured Joey Silvera and Cara Lott, NOT you!! (If by anychance your reading this)
