Wonder if anybody knows the name of the film that starred Roxanne Hall and Christopher Clark. I have seen that film. But I cant remember the title. I saw it on Filmnet which some of the forumites will remember from the old D2MAC days on Astra 19east where Skys old analogue service was.

It probably is La Princesse et la pute, yes, though I'm not sure if it's part 1 or part 2.
