I agree that Big Brother is distorted because it is edited but still feel that the way the people interact with each other mirrors real life
The modern equivalent of striving for the ultimate prize ie career,money
Back stabbing mainly through gossip in all reality shows as well as real life IMO

Big Brother is for losers who drift aimlessly in their own pathetic boring lives, hoping to see if reality TV borders on their own crappy insignificant lives.
That said, I DO admit to watching the first series, and willed Darren to give Nasty Nick a good hiding.

Well I can honestly say that I have not been drawn into these shows like alot of this country seems to have been. I've watched about 30 mins of the last Big Brother & that was only to find out the result cos I was been bombarded with it hours before, & so I decided that if I saw the result I could ignore it for the rest of the next day as the TV stations ran it again & again.
I've watched none of the current Big Brother........am I missing anything? I've heard there are some stunning women on it this time! And someones going to have sex or is this a ruse by the producers to get us to watch?
I watched a small amout of "I'm a celeb' get me out of here!" cos I like Phil Tuffnell as he is so off beat that I wanted to see how he got on. One day playing cricket for England next, stuck in a jungle.....who would of thought it.....not Phil for sure!
Has TV really sunk to these depths? Sad ain't it?

If all your friends/work colleagues are talking about it maybe your mixing/working with the wrong crowd?
Seems to me many of us bag many things on this forum but then angry when someone starts bagging porn....hypocrisy IMO?
Tolerance of everything is the only way forward
