I am sure you have all noticed these on products that we buy. My question is why do they bother? Its all hype to make the company seem to give a fuck.
I once had to phone one after I ate a bag of crisps and later heard on the TV and radio that the bag I ate came from a batch contaminated with broken glass. I will not mention the brand but think of a footballer with big ears from Leics who used to play in Japan and you will understand which crisp firm I am on about. ( Salt and Lin.... flavour were not affected only Cheese & Onion). Anyway I phoned the "consumer care line" and was confronted by a recorded message saying something along the lines that broken glass isnt harmfull, if my belly hurts go to my doctor, and I should not have even rang them??!!
Tomorrow I intend phoning the "consumer care line" of Scottish & Newcastle and demanding they do something about my hangover. But I bet I will only get an ansa-phone. Chattes.

Re: Consumer Care Lines
Magoo, you should desist from eating crisps, as they will make you a fat bastard, as will newcastle brown ale, also your hair will fall out, and you will be very unattractive to women, also eating glass is not recommended, you will shit window paines and end up working for a double glazing firm.

Re: Consumer Care Lines
Sorry, but aren't 'Scottish & Newcastle' and 'consumer care' somewhat at odds with each other.

Re: Consumer Care Lines
Scottish & Newcastle became Scottish Courage after the merger of S&N with Youngers and other Scots breweries. They tried moving water from Scotland but it didnt work
