Are porn mags going broke ?

With so much porn available for virually nothing on the web, I'm wondering if anyone knows what is happening with magazine publishers like Paul Raymond etc. I used to regularly buy magazines, but since getting online about a year ago, I've hardly bought any. I feel guilty !

I still purchase the odd mag but not as often. Good for a peruse if you don't have a computer near your bed on hung over mornings!

I used to buy Mags but they changed the format from what turned me on (good looking women in and out of sexy clothes) to looking like stills from shite sunday sport vids ! but times change and i can see as many sexy women as i like for free (cost of pc, telewest monthly charge ect ect) and now i can legaly buy Hardcore British Porn with some of my old fave girls (and some new faves ) in so Life is good
....and like the brit porn ...its getting better all the time .

Yes, I agree with you about the girls looking like stills from sports show videos. There also seems to be a lot of those lads mags full of advertising for trendy clothes, booze and video game thingies. But their models all look expressionless, drugged and all out of the same mold. Men Only and Club back in the 80's were the best.

Iam sick of all That Lad Mag crap ,i dont want to read about of the making of the Italian Job ,?400 shoes from some arse shop in Slone square and a set of some micro celeb bird who dont even show her tits ,though i will say ive got a bit of a thang for that Nell Mcandrew but i dont want to see her smoking a fag in a chip shop in Hull ! i just want to see her dressed in stockings looking shaggable on some bed or chair .

Just out of interest has the Lads-mag market had a bad effect on sales ?
or has that all passed now ?
I know Nadia was asking for girls to do a Laded shoot and Jo Guest who was more of a Men's world girl seemed to be a Loaded fave , so some sort of cross over happened , did this help sell more copys or did any of Mr Raymonds Mags become more Lifestyle than stroke , to keep up with the late 90's trend ?

Not sure if the lad mags like Loaded and FHM have had much impact on sales of adult mags ??let's face it they're mostly bought by 14-year-olds and anyway, who could possibly have a tug over some airbrushed celeb bint from Hollyoaks who's NOT getting her bits out?

Wouldn't say porn mags are going broke, but the real menace is, of course, the internet. I read recently that there's 300,000 porn sites offering images for free. It's impossible to compete directly with that.

Magazines offer a 'different mastubatory experience' and definitely still have their uses ? keeping me off the streets for a start!

(Oh, and the Club Ed would never wear a basesball cap, back to front or otherwise. He's more of a velvet smoking jacket and Breton cap sort of character).
