Keep it going

Pull the other one sunny

All the other entries have more than one selection

Hence forth they should all be disqualified

I thought the question of 'Favourite Song of all Time" meant one song not a list

There's about 40 Beatles songs I couldn't separate with a feeler gauge so I'll go for Band of Gold by Freda Payne.

Opps I forgot - how about OOh Nana Higha ( or something like that ) by Pussyfoot, which came out in about 1979 and was only made because the chicky babe bimbo was the girlfriens of either Godley or Creme of 10cc fame. Actually, it was fuck awful !

I suppose there really is no such thing as a number one in all reality

So here is my NO 1 EQUAL

Imagine by John Lennon

The line that there are only solutions not problems is timeless and true IMO

IMO the man was a genius very much mis understood

For No One is Macca in "nobody does it better" mode. Some of the songs he was doing around that time were just immense.

Sorry, but it'll have to be a list (but I'll keep it shorter than the 200 essentials):

Harvest For The World and Summer Breeze (The Isley Brothers)
Alone Again Or (Love)
Gordon Brown (The Stranglers---might have misheard the lyric!)
The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Any More (The Walker Brothers)

And I could go on, and on, and on . . . .
