I have met many people with learning dificulties, many are bright.
I do not think its wrong if they are adults, as they have the right to be in films as every body else, ie the law states thay have the same rights. I have worked with a few, one had been left ?50000, he used to give people ?700 all the time. There was nothing legally one could do as it was his right to give the monery away.
There are other problems too when it comes to rights, suuch as the person must be able to refuse medication, even if it would mean death to them. It gets rather complecated if you look into it.
The qwuestion would be consent to being in the film.To be filmed you have to sighn a contract. If there person is able to do so, then, is down to the person with LD. The person with LD may regret being filmed but the law states they have the right to make that desision.

I seem to remember seeing somewhere on the net a couple of years ago adverts for a vid "starring" some people that had business dealings with Howard Stern I think one of them was called Ernie the Freak or something.
