Re: Best comic book film....
the batman movies are done in a adult way, irecall in 66,67 there was a series starring adam west thought they were great at the time, until the movies were made in the late 80s its about time we had green lantern on film or the atom.

I think X-Men 2 is one of the best ones to date. Spiderman is also up there.
Superman 2 is a true classic though and one of my all time favourites.
Batman Returns was the best of the new Batman films.
Looking forward to League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Ones I have wanted to see but I don't think they were released
over here were:
Vampirella - just to see how it was adapted
Fantastic Four - its become somewhat of a cult film as its so hard to find
Dr Strange
Judge Dredd wasn't great but I will like it because the production design was just spot on. Costumes, vehicles etc all looked right which is rare in most films where all the costumes are usually redesigned and everyone wears black leather.
Some of the turkeys were:
Doc Savage
Trial of the Incredible Hulk (TV movie) - the Daredevil costume is beyond awful
Do you remember Dolph Lundgren as The Punisher?
The Flash TV series I liked a lot when it was on originally. I don't think I could be bothered to watch it again. Lois and Clark was one of the best TV series adaptations mainly because Teri Hatcher is just awesome as Lois Lane.

Another turkey was The Phantom with the usually very good Billy Zane. Dire springs to mind.

Re: Best comic book film....
Blade 2 has to be up there as one of the best. Ridiculous dialogue, outrageous violence? and it doesn't take itself too seriously.
Worst comic adaptation? Batman & Robin, Superman 4 or Supergirl.
