Does anyone know a company in the UK that will convert videos from the American NTSC system into European PAL format?

It should be pretty easy to do it yourself, most mid range vide recorders should playback both formats

I remember reading a while back that some/most DVDs can output a signal recordable on a vhs vcr. Is this correct? I wondered which DVD players do this.

I think he meant 'record NTSC originals onto PAL format', which is a LITTLE more difficult......if anyone knows how to do so (without too much expense and jargon !) please feel free....

As far as Im aware, if your home VCR will playback NTSC videos, you should be able to connect another VCR, using a Scart lead and simply copy them aswith any other tape copy
