3 cheers for Nookey's (bear) team

Post by The Stir Fry Master »

Dear All,

there was a recent post asking about the service from Nooky's and I'm happy to report that I'm one happy customer.
I ordered a film on tuesday afternoon via the web site and it arrived this morning!
In addition, I receieved several e-mails during the short process informing me of my order!

I don't make any commision fROM this kind of write up, but it's good to shout about companies when they provide a service in this way!

cheers

No, but I'm cool with that. original tape though, so it's pretty easy to get a copy of the cover if you need one.

a) How?
b) Why should I have to?
c) Why won't Pushkin and all the little Nookies answer this question?
I know it seems petty, but I really can't see why a cheap cardboard sleeve can't be included as standard, rather than as some sort of add-on bonus.

Hi JJ,

fair comments on all accounts!

1.Personally, I'm not too fussed about the cover. They have the covers, front and back on the site, which you could print off and put in a video box.

2.maybe you shouldn't! I think this is a personal view!

3. you'll have to speak with them, I'm only a punter like you my man. I'm more interested in recieving the vid quickly, than it being in its original box!!

I'm not fussed about the ORIGINAL cover, I just want a cover of ANY description/quality........if I buy a packet of Smarties, I expect them to be enclosed in a suitably-sized cardboard tube (decorated or otherwise at the vendor's discretion), and not to have to e-mail Rowntree's while holding said sweetmeats in an old hankie, or to go to the Sweetie-Wrapping Department of Ryman's to purchase expensively-priced 'Generic Confectionery Tubes': why should vids be any different?
Their service and quality are otherwise excellent, so why spoil the ship for a ha'p'orth of tar?

I think what JJ was alluding to before he overdosed on mm's/smarties was the art on the boxes front/back matters not one bit.

For long life of vids they need a cover/sleeve.
Considering these cost next to nothing its obvious most people don't understand the major ramifications. While I'm on my soapbox
never store your Dvd's/Vids near your Tv/Vcr/Dvd unless you don't want them to last.
