There maybe, Dave Gilmour did premiere a new song at the albert hall gig (2002?) I think its called Smile? and Rick Wright made a guest apperance to play keyboards (and one of his own songs) so I guess thats 2/3 of Floyd live? (well the remaining line up) as Dave said before the song "This is a new song, get your tape recorders ready!" or something like that, can be found on the excellent David Gilmour live in concert DVD, Does anyone know if the Dave Gilmour 1984 live at hammersmith odeon will ever be released on region 1 DVD? as it was only ever released stateside to my knowledge and all I have is a pale NTSC transfer, TIA guys

I love PF, but this endless re-hashment of old, or dodgily-recorded, material serves neither them nor their fans all that well..........

Who cares about what JJ? the music well I do , Ive been a Floyd fan for a long time, the longest period I've ever been into a band, and music has got me through some of the worst times in my life, if you listen to live recordings, especially those from the 70's, you can hear just how influential they really were, take a live performance of dark side of the moon from 73 it's amazing, and they are still as I mentioned in my earlier post recording new material even now, both Dave Gilmour & Roger Waters have both toured recently (having caught Roger Waters live at Wembley Arena I can say it was a truly moving experience)

Yes Steve, at the Docklands arena show of 1989, I have a signed photo featuring Dave Gilmour, Nick Mason, & Rick Wrights signatures, also a funny story at the Earls court show of 1994, we was sitting in the cafe bit, sipping our smuggled in beer, and getting our tape recorders ready (shit did I just say that? Emily behave!) ?4 a pint, yeah right? and my mate goes and asks this guy the time, and it was David Gilmour, my mate looked up at him and stood there gawping, nice bloked though all of them, I've never been as affected by muic as I have there's, the same with Led Zeppelin (got into them a few years later) when you see the live stuff Steve from The DVD, you'll se what a fantastic guitar player Jimmy Page really is, truly amazing
