You would have a point, however the case remains that the UK does not permit consenting adults to behave and view what they should be freely able to.

Sex is still marginalised so that, as the wise man said, one is made to feel excluded and stigmatised just for enjoying what (if we all colectively explored our sexuality like a grown up mature nation should be able to do) could bring us closer together instead of dividing us.

.....which is far too sane a point of view ever to become Policy.

You think you've got it bad but consider our little island State Tasmania.(the one that Queensland left off of the Australian Flag 1982 Commonwealth Games Brisbane)

It is still an offence punishable by a jail term for two consenting males to have anal sex(I kid you not).

Normal relationships(as the state terms it Man/Woman)can have sex of anykind as long as its consenting.

F...cking Hypocrites.

For the record I'm straight.

Same in the UK if theres more than two blokes together. Its Ok if its 10 blokes and one woman though. Doesnt make any sense to me.

Just for the record I`m straight also just like Mr Buttsie. Otherwise I would go to the BBAFD forum. Think about it...

If you need one woman to be legal could always invite Mr T.

Its all for the good of the family unit.

All people persecuted for stupid hypocritical laws come from family units(no wonder society is dysfunctional)

your point re. marginalisation and social exclusion is well made.

being free to be an adult is about more than changing the law - it's about the broader culture and feelings of individual self worth.

these things can work on a subtle level - it's not just about the "moral majority" hectoring everyone. for instance this article was in thurday's evening standard:

the argument made seems to be that visual representations of the sex act are acceptable, if made in the most miserable context imaginable.

straight porn on the other hand is to be reviled for showing, er, just sex and therefore pandering to the voyeur within us (what's so wrong with watching, anyway?).

degradation is in the eye of the beholder but in their judgement, they also seek to condemn the audience: to engender, feelings of self disgust, along with an atmosphere of recrimination on the part of wider society.

in truth it's the faux moralisers who create the conditions for human misery - more so than any skin flick ever has done.

we can change the law but if we can't change ourselves then it's not worth the candle!

No 1 moraliser of all time

The Catholic Church.

No Condoms equals Aids spreading like wildfire, unwanted children being born into abject poverty all for the sake of Morals.

Thanks for the info Woodgnome

Makes a welcome change from our O/T excursions of late.

a forum without o/t excursions is like a church without incense, your ex-holiness.

Buttsie you are a crass idiot. Aids is spread by needle sharing
and anal sex and was transferred from the sad, sorry "gay",
community by bisexuals. How is the Catholic church hypocritical
- do they advocate these things in some way?
You should be more grateful for morals - wheres the fun in being
an arsehole when everyone else is.
