Who Inspires You-there is no right answer

Post by buttsie »

Politicians,Sportstars,Religious leaders,Actors etc or as Mark Bosnich said your Parents should inspire you

Personally my no 1 is the Dalai lama

My second would be David Suziki

If we all had the attitude these guys have our world would be so much better

I agree with buttsie the Dalai lama is very inspiring

for it was the Buddha that said

' Work out your own salvation ......with diligence'

Ive never checked out David Suziki but i just did a quick search on him

' The seeds of that "quasi-religious" change can be found in the spiritual connection that native people have with their home. There are faint echoes of that attachment in non-native society. It's there in the Saskatchewan farmer who refuses to follow the bank's advice and sell his farm, because his father and grandfather farmed that land and he intends to pass it on to his children. This makes no economic sense, but the spiritual meaning of the farm transcends money.'

I hate the globalisaton of this world !

One of me favourites 'Imagine'

I've long been labelled a dreamer but only because I'm a lazy bastard

As the Dalai says...actions speak louder than prayer

Such is life

I read his first book 'a matter of survival' in the 1980s and it was a wake up call-big time

When I see the atrocities being committed in the name of profit I shudder

Foreign investment should be a good thing but in reality it isn't alas

As my father said 30 years ago....Multinationals son-beware

When companies are bigger than countries there will always be trouble
