Even more porn on Sky digital
"Another new adult channel has begun testing off the EPG today 6 July. The channel titled 'Pout TV' has been in the pipeline for several months and will finally make its official EPG launch in the coming weeks. The tests will remain encrypted at 11.426 (V), under the label "t342".
It should also be noted that a surge of adult channels have been launched from the Erotika group recently, with more on the way."
Anyone know who's behind it?

Behind Erotika are TVX, so if you've ever subscribed to TVX you can expect to see the same films on the Erotika channels.

57 channels and nothing on as Springsteen once sang.
This is getting silly, the Erotika films are already shown on 984 and 970. Instead of paying for more airtime I wish they would go away and find us some classy erotic entertainment instead of 15 channels with 3 channels worth of stuff.
Any idea who is behind Pout?

Re: Even more porn on Sky digital
Aha,
I have done a search and it is being launched by an outfit called the TV Group. Supposedly it will run 9am to 5pm, Mon thru Fri and will feature saucy interactive shows, some pay per view stuff and lifestyle programs. Most of the content will be British (fuck me ragged!) and made in-house at their ?6m studio set up in London.
Now the films are supposed to be Cable 18 BBFC? What does that mean?
The vanilla porn of TVX/TAC or boring old 18 cert wouldn't offend a mouse?
Obvioulsy no chance of Dirty Anal Kelly............
?6m, never thought anyone would use that sort of brass? Surely not a professionally run outfit that will treat the customer with some respect?

Re: Even more porn on Sky digital
What really has taken off are the premium rate phone line shows such as 'Babestation' and 'Fast Girls'. (There's one called 'Girl Talk' which is non porn).
They must be financially attractive though I can't see the need for a 6m studio for these. Someone's spare room would do.
I expect we will see more of this sort of things.
I'm just going to lie down in a darkened room.

Originally set to lauch in November 2002. Ah well - best laid plans and all that...........

Re: Even more porn on Sky digital
They are using the office space of Avago which is where the ?6m value comes from, it used be the studios of the Money Channel (Adam Faith's venture) until they went tits up.
The content has to be the same strength as TAC, TVX et al but maybe they will package it differently.
