Somebody bound to mention it,(though i couldn't be bothered to read every thread).

I not really a big fan of live album but the one i listen to now and again is Queen-Live Magic(1986).(mind you that's not mine,It belongs to my father and i sort of nicked it off him,i ought to give it him back really).

There probley better ones out there.

No,

I think its a great album! I bought it all on my own, I was very brave!!
Believe it or not I do have a brain of my own & don't just do what Autumn tells me.

I like Motorhead but No Sleep didn't do them any favors IMO...1981/1990 11 tracks...their anthology did them more justice

If you want the CD Ace so as to save your GOLD VINYL its yours

You are right Buttsie, was never a fan of NWOBHM but there were some good tracks, and Motorhead jumped on the bandwagon with a live album. Still, its okay-ish for someone like me who likes the odd track.
Incidently, Lemmy (Ian Kilminster) is a vicars son who is one of the funniest interviewees around.

Find it easy playing the odd track on vinyl...lol

Agree there are a couple of classic tracks but I'll be sticking to the anthology
for the likes of I Got Mine,Back At The Funny farm & Hoochie Coochie Man Live

Lemmys definitley a one off

Would love to see the Music Execs when he comes knockin to make a deal

cheers

The definitive Motorhead collection in my opinion is "Meltdown"
This is a 3cd set running for 220 minutes and was released in 1991.
It was compiled by the editor of their fan-club and is full of classics, b-sides and rarities. I particularly like the stuff from the famous "Golden Years" live EP with the standout track being an astonishing version of Stone Dead Forever.

Thanks for the info Man

Love Stone Dead For Ever....back at the funny farm... but officer these sleeves are too short......lol

Still can't believe a supposed comment by the guys that AC/DC was louder than them-they must have been on the take-good on em if they were....lol

I love AC/DC dearly but when I heard that they got a Swiss band Krokus kicked on the same gig because the lead singer sounded the same I saw red
Any band that sings 'eat the rich' is OK in my book

As far as I'm concerned heavy metal starts with motorhead and ends with motorhead and AC/DC are somewhere down in heavy pomp these days

Not a decent 'TOTAL'album since 1980...end of story

Apparently those boys in leather Judas Priest have the most singles of all time
