Hi All
My solicitor popped in today (usually he just looks at my box of model cards) today we were having our usual pointless disussions and we came on to the subject of things we used to do or say in the playground.
Anyone remember these:
Gaylord
Joey Deacon (the worst thing Blue Peter ever did)
Any more

Re: playground memories
Completely different generation, Michelle. I've never heard of Joey Deacon (in my day BP presenters were called Noakes, Singleton or Pervert).
Interestingly (or not, as the case might be) we used to accuse someone of lying by saying "Spin," at least two decades before I heard the expression spin doctor.
And there was the feechy touch, a variation on the English childhood game of tag.

Re: playground memories
I remember this rhyme:
My friend Billy's got a ten foot willy,
he showed it to the girl next door.
She thought it was a snake,
hit it with the rake,
and now it's only four foot four!

Michelle My playground memories go back to my primary school in the 50s and 60s Anyone remember Watch with Mother, Bill and Ben and The Woodentops.
Music in Scotland was the White Heather club with Andy Stewart and the guy who was pissed and played the accordian Jimmy Shand later of course Sir Jimmy and evening TV was Parahandy , and the Sussie Soap was Skippy the first American soap was about a dog called Lobo
Secondary school was different. Music was Beatles , Stones , Three Dog Night, Rod Stewart, Nilsen.
Television had progressed to Jason King , The Champions and the other one they made a remake off. Oh yes and Getting into Caroline ---- knickers
Thanks for the post it got me thinking different time and happy time

Re: Pissing
I remember the boys toilets outside and we would always see if we could piss over the wall where other kids were. At 8 years old, it really was the coolest thing!!
