the only difference between them and us is that we have benefited from extensive, public information campaigns via a sophisticated media and we don't labour under the yoke of a censorious, controlling religion.

My point was simple,
The Catholic Church does not condone the use of condoms.
The current Aids epidemic sweeping the third world especially in Africa would be significantly halted by a change to using condoms.
Who started it is irrelevant it affects people of all sexual persuasions.I suppose you say that God invented Aids for the evil that the homsexual community practice.
The Catholic Church as far as I'm Concerned has always been out of touch(see the Film "The Mission" and they haven't changed one iota since then.
