was listening to old tapes last night of bananarama/wham/genesis etc the 80s were really good im a 60s/70s fan but it really took me back wen i heard shy boy i remembered cheggars played pop and thinking did i really watch this s#hit

For me the 80's were full of spastic Stock , Akin , and Waterman records

Jesus they just churned out gay synth pop tunes !

it was like every thing they touched they turned into plastic shite !

Aswad ...an amazing Reggae band ...... 15 mins in the Waterman studio

and all their cred was pissed away .......!

ub40,yes there great too i only have their 1st album sue/her son marc are fans too,the specials were cool terry hall really knew wat is was all about in the riot 81 ghostown,fun boy 3 were good too made some great records the lunatics have taken over the asylum/the telephone rings,bananarama,soft cell,OMD,human league,echo/the bunnymen,teardrop xplodes,china crisis,tears for fears.

I was thinking ....... i bet Steve56 wore 'Flares' in the mid 80's !

for me at the end of 79 i packed them away and from then on the Trousers i wore went like this.........

80-82 82-84 85-87 88-90
Farrahs ...... Waffles .......501's ..........black 501's.......

so how would you sum up the 80's in Trousers ?
