I hate Tony Blair and all he stands for...
Re: I hate Tony Blair and all he stands for...
Blair is a slag, plain and simple. He was a 'nobody' who took his chance when there was a labour leader vote after the untimely death of John Smith. He is a con artist, a creep, and a two faced bastard. He is determined to 'write his place in history' but the truth is most voters have had enough of him. I like Prescott cuz he clanged a pikey on TV. He'd get my vote for that alone. Prescott comes across as a fat cunt, but I'd rather he lead the country than 'phony Tony'
The West London of my youth is now on dvd
I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

Re: I hate Tony Blair and all he stands for...

Re: I hate Tony Blair and all he stands for...
All polititions are wankers, so dont vote for them it just encourages them!
you hate Tony Blair, but you dont even know why, who would be better?. Before John Smith, the Labour party was un-electable, Smith gave it some credibility, then sadly died, Blair was the only electable polititian they had, I could no more see Dennis Skinner, Claire Short or Cook doing the job, they would have been confined to the political wilderness if Blair hadn,t kept them on, You have to have a credible electable leader and like it or not Blair was the man.
The only alternative is to vote for Ian Dunkem-Smith, who stands for, er.....
what! no more than Blair.
There all the same get used to it, or do something about it and become a politician yourself, see how easy it is then, remember Thatcher? I do! she fucking decimated the country creating the highest unemployment since the war and destroying all before her, the labour government you have today is no more than a puppet regime run by big business, same as all government are worldwide....

Ooooh I say.
A bunch of guys ( New Labour) get a 3 milion quid loan and 3 million quid overdraft from Nat west/RBS. They use it to hire reserachers to discover what the public want to hear, spin doctors and publicists to tell them how they,re going to give it to them, and how it's going to be better than what the competition has to offer( things can only get....). Not satisfied with the loans, the boss takes a back hander to change "policy" on ciggarette advertising only one week before the election, and is sorely tempted with more of the same filthy lucre. Sounds like a Jeffrey Archer novel doesn't it.
Well the naive electorate of this country got what they deserved.
It makes me laugh.
Natwest/RBS is no nearer to getting it's money back.
Thatcher decimated industry in this country, which is why we are not on the verge of an economic catastrophe like, Italy, Germany, France, etc, the countries of the euro, whose treasuries owe more in social benefits payments than they can ever collect in revenue, because they are old fashioned manufacturing based economies ( include agriculture for France, supported by the CAP by everyone else in Europe). Making washing machines, televisions, all the bits required to build a motor car, etc is no longer , oh God you all know the story. If not keep watching the plot unfold.

As much as I understand the 'non-voter' stance, I can't help but think it's the ultimate in conservatism and utterly selfish. Even if you're voting for the lesser of two evils (as opposed to the evil of two lessers) then someone, somewhere just might benefit.
