With that Russian bloke taking over Chelsea, and Winston Bogarde(?) sitting on his arse witing for his contract to expire on ?42,000 a week, wouldn't it be nice if Ivan applied some commie principals.

"Winston, now you work for me you work for the collective. As you don't do anything here, I'm sending you to my Siberian nuclear plant for the rest of your contract, where I hope you will be more productive."
We have need of you again, great king.

This lazy cunt is hated at Chelsea for two reasons, firstly his ?40k+ a year for keeping the bench warm, but mostly the reason Luca Vialli was sacked. Vialli wanted Di Canio who was keen to link up with DiMatteo and Zola, but because of his discipline, Bates refused the sanction for transfer. LeBeouf made it clear he was leaving soon, so Ken, in his wisdom, decided to appease Luca by buying a Dutch defender instead of Paulo. In short, Luca got arsey and Bates said 'Fuck off'
Word was on the training ground at Harlington, Zola used to skin Bogarde for fun when it was practice at defending. Those crazy italians!!!!!

Ravanelli,Boksich,Suker

Just look at the Universe of stars Derby has been through
Not even up to Div 1s standard

Thats why the Premier League has become known as Europes Retirement Village.Lets hope now that the TV money has been shredded these so called stars that are well past their best won't be picked up in the future

cheers

Wouldn't say Ravinelli was a flop at Middlesboro. Ok, they still got relegated but he did bag 31 goals that season and all he said about the bad side of Middlesboro turned out to be true.
He said training was given up by several players so they could play golf, serious drinking and card playing cultures, and practicing on a municipal park with Sunday league sides was unacceptable. Robson eventually went and McLaren certainly changed a lot of what Fabrizio complained about.
When Ravinelli came back to GB and initially played at Derby under Jim Smith, he was an inspiration, but an injury and a change of manager finished him at Derby, although he did offer to play for 50% less wages as Derby were in dire straits.

Weren't a lot of those goals in the Cup Competitions where Borough made it to the FA Cup Semis

What with the other outstanding performances from Branko Strupar,Stefano Eranio & Georgie Kinkladze I'd clean forgot about his Derby Foray

Still say his best days were at Juventus

cheers

Rav can't go down as a costly flop...a twat yes, but not a flop...and Boksic, although I didn't like him had a good scoring record (especially by Boro standards) - true his wages were high but he cost nowt.

Ps. It is Middlesbrough, not Middlesborough.

Mendieta was a massive flop at Lazio following a ?20m move and was loaned out after 1 season.
