I saw it, thought Townshend looked daft changing his guitar every song and jumping about like he was 18 again..... silly. Daltrey always was a good singer, and the songs were good, but after Townshends recent troubles, I couldn't get into it like I might have.

ive not heard his early nintys solo album ' Psychoderelict '
but ' Private Eye' (when all the 'kiddy' thing happened) said it was about
an under age girl ......who sends the washed up rock star of the story a letter with a provocative photo ...that he replies to and starts a media

He's not like Glitter though .......... no one came forward and said he had sex with me and i was 5 or six years old ......
the police only cautioned him .....did he have kiddy porn on his Computer ?

For an insight into Towshend's somewhat troubled and complex sexual politics you could try tracking down a copy of Horse's Neck, a collection of short fictions he published through Faber & Faber in the mid-eighties. A truly exceptional book of genuine literary merit. He really should've written more - and perhaps still should.

hi,i was more into the early stuff really i missed the show the other night though but remember pete aint the only 1,jonathan king is a right twat him and chris denning were abusing kids nearly 30 yrs ago and only just been found out so theres probaly many more out there:as for pete doing research thats a flimsy xcuse and we all know it,glitter sonded the worst in a way/king.
