i know, it's still pretty damn hot but an hour or so ago the thermometer in my back garden was reading over 35c, since then its gone all cloudy and its now reading about 28c. a drop of at least 7c in 60 mins!
bring back the stiffling tropical heat i say.
Just think forward to mid november when its getting near freezing, dark at 4 o'clock, wind and horizontal rain driving down, no chance of seeing any decent weather for at least six months. I'll be greatful for the ridiculous heatwave we had earlier in the year.
Heatwave over??

Re: Heatwave over??
touchy subject i know, but i wouldn't mind betting that it was the baby's parent's fault. i don't know the full story, but to let that happen is plain careless. we know its cruel to leave a dog in a hot car but a baby!?
Mind you, following on from my original point, the clouds seem to have gone and the ol' mercury's gone above the 30 mark again.

Well that's this country for you. When it's hot we hate it, when it's cold we hate it! All because we are not used to long spells of anything. If you live in a country where it's hot all the time you end up getting used to it, same as the cold.
