Fash was the first (and so far only) gay to 'come out'. There are quite a few who are gay, but won't admit it as they would be slaughtered from the terraces. I remember when Glenn hoddle admited he was a 'born again Christian' and he took a fair bit of stick for that. So if I was a gay footballer, It would be in MY best intrests to keep schtum about it
