I told the truth when It came to re-newing my policy, and they whacked another 30 quid on the premium.

On a possibly better note, there was a report on the radio the other morning that putting another named driver on your policy actually lowers the premium.

Basically, on of the shows presenters had asked for someone to be taken off his insurance as they didn't drive his car any more, only to find they wanted an extra ?180. On phoning around others insurers, he found this to be the case with all of them, as did every one in the office who tried it out just to make sure he wasn't a unique case.

May be worth keeping in mind next time it comes for renewel.
