[MegaTon]

I have a message that keeps popping up in windows just before it finishs loading up. It says i'm missing or it can't find a file called MSInfo.exe Then it goes on to mention about looking in Win.ini. But i can't find it. Infact i'm not sure what program it comes from anyone got any ideas.
It doesn't seem to effect any programs i use its just i like to get shot of it.

Have you recently installed or uninstalled a program?
If you uninstalled it, did you just delete the folder or do it via control panel?

No i remember having an Explorer error come up. Then i shutdown turn it back on and there it was. I reinstalled the win98 i had on it and that didn't do anything.
I haven't uninstalled anything.
Any ideas?

You reinstalled 98?
From scratch??
Did you format your hard drive before hand or just install on top of the existing 98?

Try reinstalling Explorer.

Reinstalled from scrath yes. No i didn't format H/D.
Reinstalled explorer also and still does the same thing.
Shall have a look at that link also.
