Forever Changes - Love

Post by Guilbert »

Mainly for Steve, and other 'oldies'.

A few weeks ago we were discussing phycadelic music from
the mid/late 60s.

I mentioned an album called Forever Changes by a US group
called Love, fronted by Arthur Lee, in my opinion (and many
others) one of the greatest 'rock' albums ever made.

Well Arthur Lee has been touring the UK this year playing the
whole Forever Changes album (as Brian Wilson did with Pet
Sounds last year) and he was even at Glastonbury this year.

Last night on BBC 4 TV at 10:30 pm they showed the whole
Love/Arthur Lee concert, and it was amazing, watching young
people bopping to music over 30 years old.

Guilbert.

I have to agree with that Stevie .........

Have you ever seen the Monterey 67 film with Country Joe and boys looking sooooooooo stoned ! and again at Woodstock when they play 'Fixin' to Die'
is one of the best anti-war songs ever !

somtimes i forget how good your taste in music can be !!!!!!
you like the KINKS (greatest band ever) Hawkwind (might have a nice prezie for you of the boys) and of course SMOKIE (you can stick that tape up your arse!!).........LOL

Shame you cant get any Love Live in 67 ...........?
