Well there is one place where the fox is safe from the Huntsman.....& that's in the towns & cities that have 'Urban Foxes'

We have quite a few here as I live near a railway line which is one of their main habitats. They are quite happy to walk into the garden in broad daylight & it is quite nice to see such a creature to us townnies! Of course they live on scraps from rubbish bins but a few folks have taken to leaving out titbits for them.

Their biggest danger is been run over by cars & I have seen many a dead fox who has been struck by a car.

Of course we have our 'pro's' & 'anti's' hunts here, but in central France & Italy hunting is much away of life. Large areas of the country are private land for hunting, mainly shooting. I get the feeling that are European neigbours think we are a strange lot in trying to ban hunting, but as I say hunting is much more a day to day activity to them. You will find shops in towns selling hunting gear, from guns to hunting wear. Wonder how that would go down here?

Anyone who is prepared to watch/aid & abet/cause an animal hurt is beyond redemption and should be subject to the same fate he proscribes.

And forget this shit about how many dogs would have to be put down, they were only encouraged in the frst place to procreate so some asshole could brag about the aize of his pack.

I personally would settle the debate by subjecting the "sportsmen" to the same fate as the fox -might well change a few minds!

PS. The Chairman agrees wholeheartedly and if any of these sadists would like a one-to-one with 2lb of furry fury, be my guest.

Probably useless to add one item to such a long list : nevertheless, I do love foxes, squirrels, badgers, deers, dolphins etc, and hate people who do (or wish) harm to such delightful creatures. Hunting is shameful, and such is fishing, except if one needs it to live. Give wildlife a chance!

Subsidies & Tariffs World Wide should get the flick...they are a massive distortion...given that these barriers are meant to save local jobs maybe
just maybe giving local farmers & manufacturers first right to supply the local their countries first would be a smarter solution.

Globalisation should die a sad death because there will NEVER be a level playing field.

Someone manufacturing products in China is always going to undercut most companies in the West so where is it all going to end?

I sometimes wonder wether Humans are really good at heart when I see
institutions like the WTO & World Bank roaming the world like they were playing monopoly

Just an afterthought

If the cruelty angle is what gets most of the public up in arms about fox hunting why not muzzle the dogs

Don't get angry get even

Worth a try
