Aside from which, how stupid and/or selfish do you have to be to pull a stunt like that a week before the Turkey game? Loyalty to one's team and country? Don't make me laugh..........
And in a week when it seems every Premiership player is a violent racist, rapist, or druggie (or all three), to have the unmitigated gall to try and blackmail the FA and fans with threats of 'industrial action' shows a breathtaking ignorance of the real world. Or is it just arrogance? And Ferguson lends a helping hand as usual, from the selfless standpoint of What is Good for Man U is Good for Football..............
Either way, boot the whole useless lot out, forget about 2004, and train up the U-21s for 2008.

Losing Rio would seem to be the least of their problems....Owen & Beckham are far more important
