Chelsea v Arsenal

Post by crofter »

takes place this weekend, who will win??
my money is on Chelsea to inflict their first win against Arsenal in the Premiership, cos Arsenal are pants at the moment.
Also this could have a large (or small) BARING on the Janey v Ace bet.

??

IMHO they're both suspect at the back and wasteful upfront so its a toss of the coin

I'm predicting a 4-4 draw.....8 own goals

Won't have any bearing on the bet as theres still plenty of time for both to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

Hi All,

I am most dissapointed it will not be televised as I was hoping to get the boobs out for every Arsenal goal.

Mind you if we play like England did against Turkey, you wouldn't see much.

I had to end up flashing every time we got a throw in the second half to keep the cam viewers happy LOL

I guess I could support Leicester V Spurs this weekend and get them out for the Foxes in blue instead......

If you want to watch me watching the game, it's FREE to watch and on the same site as last time.

Thats very peculiar as its down in the SBS Ethnic Channel TV guide to be televised live in Australia
11.55pm Saturday 18/10/2003

Sounds like you might need to modify your tactics Janey Web to keep the games interesting...lol

God knows football without goals rivals question time in parliament for entertainment

cheers

Where's Janey to rub my nose in it? I said we'd be happy with a draw at best, so no suprises to me we got beat. Still a long way to go yet

I'll safely predict now that Ranieri will be sacked by X-mas and that the league will be a 2 horse race as always, Man U and Arsenal, what makes me laugh is that the fact is that all English pundits slag off Scottish football as a 2 horse race and that is exactly what English football has been for the last umpteen years.

Stupid as this may seem but you will never win the league with so many good individual players as Chelsea have as the manager will never get the opportunity to have them all match fit at the same time unlike Man U and Arsenal who probably have the same 16 on the field and bench every week and are therefore at peak condition every week.

Buying the title...

Post by JackHorny »

I wouldn't write Chelsea off... far, far, far from a 2 horse race this season...

Admittedly the Premiership year in, year out finds, at best, half a dozen teams in with a shout, inevitably they consist of the usual suspects, plus probably one other team which has had an extraordinarily good season...

However - you don't have to cast your mind too far back to name another team that bought their way to the title - AND UNDER A SUSPECT MANAGER...

Chelsea have the resources to "do a Blackburn", and I for one firmly believe they are in with a hell of a chance.

Evening Ace,

Hehehehehehee

Does anyone do that fantasy football thing?

I just wondered if Chelsea's keeper can get some points for his assist during our winner. That sure was a great dummy he pulled off!

Now it's time this weekend to say Come on the Foxes!

Don't forget what home goals make in this game......

Love

It was a howler wasn't it, but not to worry, he's still in credit as far as were concerned.
Your manager was right to let Seamen go, he has had a torrid time at Man City, still, appearing on daft TV shows doesnt help.
Euro ties this week Janey, you will excuse me if I hope your lot crash...again?
