That's silly: they don't call regular mush. soup, FIELD mush. soup.....
Like 'pan-fried', or 'ready-to-wear', it's tautologous.

I imagine ad execs think it sounds sexy. Which proves that as a group they are completely insane.
Like 'go-faster' stripes, it adds precisely nothing to a product's allure- on the contrary.

Crab & Sweetcorn.......mmmmmmmmmmm

My recipe

1 packet of Knorr Oriental Chicken & Sweet Corn soup.
4oz white crab meat
1 beaten egg
ground white pepper

Follow directions on packet, boil for 10 minutes, add cooked crab meat (or prawns) 1 minute before serving, just prior to serving whisk in a beaten egg, and leave to stand for 1 minute.
Serve with a chunk of buttered crust bread.
Add pepper to taste.

Delicious.

Hi Steve..Try it you will love it. Beware what many take-aways try to sell you as Crab & Sweetcorn soup, they chuck in a few of those chemical inspired seafood sticks (they used to be called crab sticks but contained fuck all crab so had to be renamed) and try to pass that off as pucker.
Living in Cornwall I am lucky to get loads of excellent seafood, but on my jaunts to London I have been impressed by the variety available, and remember seafood boosts your libido and sperm count so get munching.

Cheers CC.

Jambolaya is a Caribbean dish Steve, Chicken, rice and peas with lots of spices.

In Angel Heart (DeNiro and Rourke) A wealthy man who confesses to Rourke is killed by having his head stuffed into a pot of Gumbo

Gumbo is described perfectly by our Texan friend, but Gumbo was also a character in the VERY disturbing film, ID

The West London of my youth is now on dvd
