O/T joining WMV/AVI files

Does anyone know of a prog for joining windows media (wmv)files and avi's. I have MPeg join and hjsplit but neither of these will join wmv's or avi's.
Alternatively, can I rename an avi/wmv as an mpeg?

don't know about wmv's but you can rename your avi files to mpeg and mpgjoin should do the job quite happily.

You can join wmv's by using Windows movie maker which is part of the XP pkge

You can also try the secret program, Peck Join and search for it on , but remember ssshhh keep it quiet.
