Looks like the very frugal and wise Leeds Utd board have decided to dispense with the services of Mr Reid. I wonder how much of this, if anything, is down to the selfish behaviour of Viduka and PR being forced into disciplining him. I can't see anyone being able to turn that team around with the situation, particularly financial, being what it is.

It is pathetic.80 million in debts of which 7 Million was compensation to O'Leary and Venables.Sold their best players on the cheap and generally vandalised a good football club. The good news is everyone involved in this debacle from managers to directors have been well compensated for loss of office, To think that not long ago I believed success brought rewards, but in every walk of life useless directors seem to do better than competent ones when to comes to pay offs.The only good thing that can come of this is if they are relegated,then the money men in the City may not be so quick to invest pension fund money in Football Clubs and the game can return to normal

Some of us will remember the hellish journeys into that Heart of Darkness called Elland Road. Those bastards even set fire to a bus me and my mates were on ; innocent civilians were on the same bus, women and their kids.
There was pandemonium. And after the bus was evacuated, they tipped it onto its side, just in case any of us were still on it.
We won 3-2 with a couple of goals from Joe Jordan, ex-Leeds of course. Man, that was lush.
So, sympathy for those sheep lovers in woolyback country ? Fuck 'em, fuck 'em all.
'At least they lived the dream' And now it's a living nightmare. Oh yes, please sir can I have some more.

There was a rule-change at Leeds a few years ago.
Now the players cause the mayhem rather than the fans.
