I met Robert Plant yesterday

Post by goldenballs »

that's right. Robert Plant, former frontman of Led Zepellin. I met him at work, shook his hand got an autograph. I was dead chuffed as well as I am a big Led Zep fan (Hendrix, Cream etc... love all that sort of stuff).
I was a little gutted though as most other people seemed to know in advance that he was coming in so everyone had a Led Zep CD ready to get signed, yet I've probably got more Led Zep than everyone at work put together but just didn't have anything with me. The best thing i could think of to get signed was my silver motorbike helmet, which i guess is fairly rock n roll. Plant was pretty impressed anyway.

Anyway, just thought i'd mention it, he seems a real nice bloke, not at all big headed.

A legend (in my eyes anyway)...

yeh robert plant seems ok for someone who sold his soul to the devil :P lol....i read somewhere that whole losing a child thing was his humbling thing....anyway led zep are overrated....and that comes from a realll rock fan......Cream are and always will be the best and far more important despite record sales.....cream wrote their songs rather than ripped off/covered and claimed credit/ borrowed bits from everyone else....yes even their main songs....weve all heard the plagiarism argument so i wont rehash....but its tru...
