Did it occur to the directors at Manchester City that their new stand is to be named after their famous player, Colin Bell?
Do you think the stand will be named the Bell End?

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

Cleethorpes Pharmaceuticals named their new stand after their stalwart defender Billy Knobb..............

wasnt colin bell mentioned in itvs the dustbinmen each week hailed as a hero,or am i thinking of alan ball?

That's why they have named one of side stands (west) after him and not one of the 'Ends'. The walkway will be known as 'Joe Mercer Way'.
