I think its best we agree to disagree regarding the whole Jimi debate, i don't agree with what your saying but then wouldn't the world be a dull place if everyone had the same tastes?

lol what no i realised afterwards i implied that....i was thinking more along the current line of "idols" such as the reality tv types which undermines things a bit, but generally speaking i prefer to reserve my respect and admiration for ppl who deserve it - non entertainment types 
...i think led zep were/are really cool, but it cant be denied they were a bit cheeky...as for jimi, well yeh i mean its something u have to "get" really and i never really got it although i do like a fair bit it just sounds a lot easier from the musicians perspective.....that said...its not 1965 and gerry and the pacemakers etc arent telling us what music sounds like.....
