I am only quoting from a book in my possession ( I use it to help me solve crosswords in the Mail on Sunday ).
The title of the book is:- The Penguin TV Companion.

Another one for you WillieBo
In the pilot show of Till Death Us Do Part in the BBC's Comedy Playhouse
series the part of Alf Ramsey's wife (or silly moo) was played Gretchen
Franklin who later went on to play Ethel in Eastenders.
No I haven't made a typo error in Alf's name for that what his name was in
the pilot show.

Thanks, Nosey. As you may have gathered I'm no tv buff but I do love this type of cultural/historical trivia.

How about the following:-
1) Johnny Briggs(Mike Baldwin) was in Carry On Up the Khyber.
2) Warren Mitchell used to be a Radio Luxembourg DJ
3) Hawaii Five-o ran to over 200 episodes.
