He's admitted that he was the last to see the girls alive, that the girls died in his house, and also that he disposed of the bodies. Seems cut and dried to me. How much will this cost the country? He'll need to be kept in solitary all his days, and no doubt get his telly, video, dvd player et al.
In cases where there is no reasonable boubt the death penalty should be brought back.

i think part of the problem was that everyone expected they had been lured into the house, tied up in a dungeon, raped, tortured and then brutally murdered.....in reality its quite possible one of them hit her head hard on the bath and it killed her....she was only a 10 year old girl as for the other, well suffocation would seem unlikely but a broken neck or something would make sense but theres been no mention of a broken neck. either way i am starting to feel that the truth is slowing coming out and that it wasnt q. the paedophilic act first made out when the story broke...

Steady. As I said he's admitted to so much, it looks like he's guilty.

I'll be happy to be proved wrong :-)

Why do I get the feeling that Huntley may be some sort of attention seeker. I know it's a very strange way to go about it but you never know how his mind was working at the time.

I don't think it's a total clear cut case.....there are some grey areas. May be when they do the summing up the jury will be able to put all the pieces of the jigsaw together & come up with a clear verdict.
