Why not put this string in Google and search, that is what I did and
found a number of errors.

Put quotes round it so it is taken as a whole string like
"Iexplore has caused an error in MSHTML.DLL Iexplore will now close"

A number of sites mention it is to do with Internet Explorer 5.5 under
Windows 98 and ME. If that is your situation it suggests upgrading to
a newer version of Internet Explorer.

Let us know what version of Windows you are on, and what level of
IE you are on (use the Help menu then About Internet Explorer).

Go into start menu, then search, then click find files/folders.
Then type in....msblast.exe, wait for the results if any, then delete anything thats has the above. It,s a virus.
Or try re-installing ie, or repairing it, or better install ie6.

If you want to check out how secure you are now
Take the shields up security test at

I found that if I surfed without a firewall like the free one at I was vulnerable to attack from viruses & hackers through several open ports

Another useful program(30 day free trial) when things goes stupid is

Identifies problems on your computer and gives you the option of fixing them or not

My mistake...thought it was courtesy of the BBC so I didn't mention it...as you do.....better that I send you royalties than sing your praises EH?

the equivalent of microsoft.com but helpful
courtesy of WOODGNOME
