Sky+

Post by JP »

As I'm a bit of Techno freak I got a Sky+ box installed today, I have to say it's a brilliant piece of Kit. Would chuck the video away were it not for the fact that my whole collection of movies is on video. Would recommend it as a Christmas buy, pit about the ?38 quid I actually pay for the Subs though.

Hi Jp, I notice sky advertising that these Sky+ boxes now do dual recording, ie you can record 2 programmes at the same time, is this in operation yet, or have you not got that far yet??
cheers

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

Crofter

Tried it earlier on and is working fine, the guy who installed it said that feature became active from a few days ago. As I said earlier on, I'm pretty impressed.

If you want to record and save a film or something, what do you do when the HD is full? Get another Sky+ box?
We have need of you again, great king.

You can either delete other recordings to free up the hard drive or copy the programme onto video (a mate actually said you could copy onto DVD as well)
